🛡️ What Is A1RunGuard Premium?
A1RunGuard Premium is a process firewall for Windows that:
✔️ Blocks unwanted programs from running
✔️ Password-protects specific executables
✔️ Adds anti-ransomware protection by monitoring important processes
✔️ Lets you define rules for processes by name or full file path
It works without installing drivers or changing system files, and is compatible with Windows 7 to Windows 11 while coexisting with antivirus software.
📥 1. Download & Install

Run the installer and follow the setup steps.

Once installed, launch A1RunGuard.
🔑 2. Activate Premium
To unlock the Premium features:

Open A1RunGuard.
-
Go to the Premium tab in the interface.

Click Register.

Paste your license key into the box (if you have one).

Click Register/Activate.
If you don’t have a license, the app will run in Free mode with limited capabilities.
🔐 3. Set Your Main Password
Before you start protecting specific apps:

Go to Settings inside A1RunGuard.

Choose a main password — this will be used for unlocking protected programs.

(Optional) You can also choose individual passwords for specific programs.
🛑 4. Block Unwanted Programs
To block a program:

In A1RunGuard’s dashboard, go to the Block/Process List section.

Add the program you want to block by:
-
File name, or
-
Full file path.

Save the rule — that program will now be prevented from executing.
🔑 5. Password-Protect Apps
To require a password before a program runs:

In the protection section, select the executable you want to safeguard.

Assign a password (either the main one or a custom one).

Now, every time someone tries to run that app, the password prompt appears.
🧯 6. Anti-Ransomware Protection
A1RunGuard monitors key system processes and will:
✔️ Watch how programs launch and check for suspicious command patterns
✔️ Alert you or block process execution if it detects malicious combinations
This is an additional layer on top of your regular antivirus.
📊 7. View Logs & Events
To see what A1RunGuard has done:

Open the Event Log or History panel inside the app.

You’ll see:

You can tweak how A1RunGuard behaves:
